Marcus Johnson is the Head of R&D for Advanced Air Mobility at SkyGrid, working in autonomous systems and air traffic management since 2009. He is a recognized thought leader in the development of UAS Traffic Management (UTM) systems and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), bringing deep expertise to the rapidly evolving autonomous aviation landscape.

Marcus leads research and development efforts focused on enabling autonomous operations under Automated Flight Rules (AFR), advancing scalable, safe, and data-driven airspace integration solutions for next-generation aerial platforms.
