Carlos Silva is the CTO of Nidec Aerospace, leading the engineering team in developing electric propulsion systems. With over 18 years at Embraer, he has contributed to various aircraft design stages across multiple disciplines, bringing deep expertise in aerospace innovation.

Carlos has also conducted research at Rolls-Royce UTC in the UK and Stanford University’s Aero-Astro department. His work focuses on advancing next-generation propulsion technologies to support the future of sustainable aviation.
