BIOGRAPHY

Barbara Pareglio is the Technical Lead for 5G, IoT, automotive, aviation, and NTN at the GSMA, with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications. She represents the GSMA in 3GPP and has led standardization work across these focus areas since 2014.

Barbara leads the Non-Terrestrial Community, working with ESA, GSOA, and MSSA to support NTN and TN network convergence under 3GPP standardization. She also leads the Smart Mobility Community and the GSMA Drone Interest Group, advancing 4G and 5G capabilities for commercial unmanned aircraft.
